At Aspire Institute of Nursing, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, ensuring that every learner feels welcomed and supported.
What is Ragging?
Ragging includes any act—whether verbal, physical, or psychological—that causes discomfort, fear, or humiliation to a student. This includes:
- Physical abuse or harassment
- Verbal insults or abusive language
- Forcing someone to perform activities against their will
- Cyberbullying or online harassment
- Any act that violates personal dignity or safety
Legal Framework
Ragging is a punishable offence under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009 and relevant laws in India.
Punishments may include:
- Suspension or expulsion from the institute
- Fine and/or legal action
- Cancellation of admission
Our Preventive Measures
- Orientation programs to create awareness about anti-ragging laws and policies
- Anti-Ragging Committee & Squad for constant monitoring
- CCTV surveillance in key areas of campus and hostel
- Anonymous complaint mechanism for students

Your identity will remain confidential, and strict action will be taken against offenders.
